I've purchased my ticket with Emirates.

Yes, yes, Tvpoison and Longecho, it was a tough decision but I've stuck to my guns (and my purse strings!) and went with Emirates...

I have sent out 2 resumes today. Hoorah for progress.. I'm not placing much hope on them but I'm just glad that they've been sent out.. it feels like I'm actually doing something.

Mmmmm, my room looks like a typhoon just swept through it. I'm having a hard time trying to decide what stays behind for awhile, what goes with me to the plane, what gets shipped over soonish.. what needs to be thrown out

On to other SARS-related news.. any Singaporean would be able to vouch how our government has an affinity for campaigns.. the latest campaign is related to educating the people how not to SPIT... Being the cynic that I am, I'm pretty sure it'll be another one of those campaigns where everyone raves about for awhile.. yes, but it'll end up as another NATO (no action, talk only) campaign.. just like the courtesy campaigns. How often do you come across a nice polite Singpaorean? (Answer: Rarely!)

The only good thing I see out of all these campaigns is perhaps a few jobs will be created.
